The Seven Network has reclaimed the title of Australia’s #1 television network and achieved the strongest free-to-air commercial audience share growth of any network this year.

Seven has the most watched shows in Australia:
* #1 program – 2021 AFL Grand Final
* #1 sporting event – Olympic Games Tokyo 2020
* #1 winter sport – AFL
* #1 regular series – The Voice
* #1 entertainment show – The Voice
* #1 news program – 7NEWS (#1 for six years in a row)
* #1 breakfast show – Sunrise (#1 for 18 years in a row)
* #1 morning show – The Morning Show (#1 for 14 years in a row)
* #1 Australian drama – Home and Away
hahahahaha

its only the numb 1 sport on FTA TV because they cover more broadcast games then Ch 9 does in the NRL & outside of melbourne
every club gets their weekly game telecast into their home market
Perth
Adelaide
Sydney & Canberra
Brisbane
This adds up over a season.
to be fair this may affect STV ratings for those games but foxtel still covers more AFL games then NRL games

No, really
the only way to determine the nations numb 1 winter code on TV is the final tally
we all know what that was don't we ? :cool:

Wow - go 7. So the AFL Grand Final was the number 1 programme for the year? And No 1 winter sport. How do they base that No 1 Winter Sport thing - does it include AFLW - or just the AFL - and how did the NRL fair? Do they count SoO and Tests in the NRL count or are they events? I'll have to read the article now - too many questions that don't add up to what is written on here re: NRL being the most popular?? Maybe it is a NRL - SoO distinction thing.
thats just FTA dummy , pay attention & as I said , they cover a lot more games then Ch 9 does in the NRL.
the NRL slaughters the AFL on STV & so
in total

it is the Numb one sport on Australian TV with 7 less games played
a round of applause is in order i think =D =D =D =D =D =D

hell
in 2023 the NRL is increasing the numb of club games by 12
oh dear 8-[

What were the average viewing figures per game for the regular season?
What were the average viewing figures per game for the final series?
What were the total viewing figures for the regular season?

It doesn’t surprise me any more that several here have the opinion that when ever the afl win something, and it’s lots, it doesn’t count. Interesting.

The Australian reports an agreement with Foxtel is expected to be secured in coming days.

The report claims Seven and Foxtel are expected to receive a combined reduction of around $200 million over the next three AFL seasons.

It comes after Foxtel announced it had extended its rights deal with the NRL through to the end of the 2027 season.
but, but but there doing so well! :rock: :rock: :rock:

Does quolls intellect extend to understanding a confidentiality agreement .
He seems to have issues understanding the meaning...even when it is explained to him multiple times .
