that is what i ment,

NRL will have another team (team 18 by next broadcast deal)

18th team, 9th game (inflation) NRL will grow by 100mill annually with ease by next deal
it SHOULD, whether it will is another story. NRL admins have been pretty incompetent with this sort of thing - with or without News

Agree- who knows what will happen - we all have an opinion on should happen - doesn't mean it will - or indeed should.

Well I have to admit that logically an extra game should bring in more money in a new TV deal. And the Dolphins will provide that extra game. Now whether or not is rises to the level of the AFL is another matter entirely. I say it won't for one simple reason. The NRL has zero presence in Adelaide and Perth.

it should and it will, NRL with 17 teams will not go well for too long.
CEO AND CHAIRMAN have stated it will happen,
But want to give Dolphins some breathing room to excel.

yeah i dont believe everything he says either.

but 18 teams is a big goal by commission.

it would be like throwing money away not going to 18 teams and 9th game.
