No I don't
Simple fact is we are disadvantaged by having a team from overseas when it comes to ratings .
Yes they are watched in Aust ....reality is their home support is in NZ .

I know where I'm coming from .plain simple facts .
We lose viewers because those viewers are in another country.

Terry has a point
Your ramblings are just that
The ratings are what they are .
You can't change them to suit whatever bizarro agenda you have

For example I have never seen anyone in the industry claim the afl GF got 50% extra ratings because of going longer .
It's just some nutter theory made by you because you can't accept reality .
I'm not changing the ratings, I'm giving them context in relation to the claim they prove which sport is the most watched.

As far as anyone in the industry, I've never seen them discuss yearly cumulative figures. All they generally discuss is who wins each time slot

a team from another country will usually have lower ratings, as the homes fans are not located in the actually country>>

that is why the warriors play in time zones suited to NZ TIME>>>

Fred just doesn't get it .
If west coke eagles home ratings in WA were not counted in Aust ..would that affect the overall ratings of AFLol ...yes

It's not hard to understand .

Every time the warriors play. ..wether in NZ or in Aust ..their fans in NZ watching the game are not counted in the ratings .
So we are down one teams home fans ratings .

A 5 year old could understand that .

Pussycat, what is 50% of 2 hours? 1 hour

Therefore to go from 2 hours to 3 hours you need a 50% increase. To go from 75 minutes to 150 minutes you need a 100% increase.

What level of education did you get to? Your maths is primary school level, and you still dont know the difference between they're, their and there.

Yet AFLcrap picks on Victorian education. LOL

An AFL match lasts 150m. (therefore 1/3 of an AFL game would be 50m) . Therefore 2/3 of an AFL match would be 100m. The length of a Rugby league match is 100m. (therefore the same time for 1 league match = the time for 2/3 of an AFL match) so the difference between the two games is 1/3 or 50m.

What else are you Victorians taught as school? No wonder you think AFL is doing well :(

ratings would decrease due to a longer telecast
it would only be a 15min extension >> with nothing but extra advertising breaks delivering a bigger $$
so there is the positive..

NRL with half time only does help figures >> by how much who knows>> very minimal.
but I doubt having extra break or 2 would see a big decline...
would be very minimal.
