Wow, just watching the women's AFL live on 7mate. Commentators just said it's a lock out . Great atmosphere and game so far. TV ratings will be interesting. Way to go AFL ladies

Me thinks this is going to be huge.

AFL = No. 1 code for male and female Australians.

Apparently over a 1000 couldnt get in! Be interesting to see the tv ratings , there's going to be a big boom in juniors this year no doubt the girls teams will double in number at junior level off the back of this great star!

Great crowd but sell out may be a misnomer as it was free entry

Just finally got it on fox. Their system was down. Hope it was due to influx of people wanting sports channel and not pay for view for those two old guys punching on?

Well we could show you the jillaroos who have played in front of crowds as big and bigger in the last 3 years but hey good luck to your WAFL. Imho, the game is suited more to females as is.

womens nines are being played over this weekend with a few NRL teams represented. The Sharks in particular have paid some attention to this.

So if you know the answer already, why ask it, and why get so fucking snotty when told something you already know?

Btw, I'm looking forward to the Womens RLWC held later this year during the Mens tournament.

Just to add, the girls played a game at last years nines as well although it was the National teams.
