their tv deal with sky nz is something like 300k a year lol and their crowds are fudged as all hell...they literally have no benefit to australian football and are just taking the spot of a team in canberra or tassie or wollongong when they shouldnt be

There is room for all those teams plus two from nz, soccer just like league has decent footprints in all areas you mention.

Soccer unlike RL could survive on transfer fees just about alone in NZ from the couple of guys they get each year or so with a pro team playing in aus letting the production line tick along. Too much money in soccer.

If we were talking gws here, the first thing to note would be a similar picture yet a crowd average three times higher.
