Lol
Touch isn't included in Rl
& it's At least ONCE A YEAR participation .
Lol
basketball flogs fumble ball .
Tennis
Golf
Lol netball
If you think once a year is a reliable guideline then it shows just how stupid you really are .
If a person has once a yr bet on the Melb cup should they be included as a GAMBlER in offical numbers .

You think ONCE A YEAR PARTICIPATION is a reliable guideline .

& you can say what you want about touch . It won't change the fact it's the non contact form of RL
I must be imagining the NRL touch footy logo .

So what was touch prior to the nrl partnership. Isn't touch included in union stats in other countries ? I thought I read that somewhere. And if the nrl and touch cease their agreement does touch stop becoming league?
What is known is that junior rl is indeed in trouble. I wonder how how touch numbers stack up against rl participation rates as think it would not surprise me in some areas. Where does OzTAg fit? Is there a touch version of ru?
As much as they may push it I think few are buying the adding touch into rl participation numbers ... especially if only done in this country and considered differently in other countries. But good on the nrl for trying.

Lol
It was invented by South Sydney Rabbitohs .
It's back home with RL .
Yes there are variations around the world ...
But touch in Aust is the non contact form of RL .
But but but but but but won't change that .
& lol
At juniors INDEED in trouble .
A slight drop in REGISTERED numbers is not INDEED in trouble .

Yeah. Listen if I was trying to prove a point and those touch numbers helped I would latch onto them too. No ones buying it though.
I think if we are seeing all the issues as we are at present over needing to find grass roots I think there is an issue. On 4bc they had a whole piece on regarding what junior rl league needs. They interviewed a club chairman and he went through the issues and where they need help. And that was in nsw. I think the major issue is the lack of juniors outside heartland areas. There is the big issue. With kids these days having more and more options, rl needs to be expanding in vic, tassie, wa etc instead the game is all but non existent.

This is why I think it is both shortsighted and wrong, the Clubs demanding more money from the NRL, for what? Bigger pay packets for the suits?
They should be putting that money into the grass roots game, and I don't mean some former no name first grader being given a thank you job with an NRL branded car to visit schools. I am talking about, proper coaching development, proper kids development pathways etc etc.
