One or two incidents, and it's St.Kilda doing the covering up - not the cops.
Just calling it rubbish without verifiable proof is not an excuse for name calling.
one or two :_<> ... theres as many or more as there is in the NRL .. a list as long as your arm
stop being a tool for once & pay attention
heres a list
http://www.bing.com/search?q=AFL%20%20s ... en-au&qs=n

& as for it not being the cops
http://www.news.com.au/national/former- ... 5882524994

A Victorian police officer resigned from the force because of the St Kilda Rape scandal from a few years back , he stated he wasn't allowed to investigate the allegations to the best of his ability because of interference from high ranking officers within the Victorian police

... it was then later revealed that there was an arrangement between the AFL & the Police ..
http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/victori ... 11y97.html

wether it extended to what occured in this case is debatable & was certainly denied ... but it certainly reeks of colusion & cover ups .. who knows what was gotten away with .. who was paid under the table to shut up ... what deals were done outside the law
Dodegy doings ... & certainly not the stuff a sport with .. what term did you use .. " off field Credibility " would be involved in
nah I'm sorry buddy .. you are living in lar lar land if you think the AFL is any better then the NRL for off field cred .. it simply isn't
people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones .... heard that one before ? [-X

OI! It said in the second article that it was ST.KILDA doing the covering up! Don't blame the cops for that - they can't investigate if the club doesn't co-operate!

The Brisbane Times is a mucky tabloid along the lines of the National Enquirer.

Besides if I was to do an NRL search the list would be a lot longer. But I'm not going to waste my time because it's clear you are wearing blinkers and absolutely hate the AFL. So you are unable to present a neutral argument.

you said the AFL has off field cred .. the NRL has none because of scandals

I said thats cr@p .. the AFL has plenty & I named a few

you said .. big deal the AFL has had just a few scandals then

I then proceeded to post links & articles to about 100 :-k

you then starting doing an impersonation of an ostrich

No I told you that for every 1 AFL scandal there were about 5 NRL.

So if there about 100 AFL scandals, that means there are about 500 NRL.

You are yet to prove otherwise, and the proof of the pud is the fact that average AFL attendances are way ahead of the NRL's. People are staying away from the NRL because they can't control their players as well as the AFL can. We punish wrong doers. The NRL sweeps it under the carpet.

Rep winner? AFL by a mile.

End of.

no ... from the AFL manual for handling scandals
deny anything happend , then when the evidence is clear .. blame everyone else for it except yourself .. off field cred eh ?
your sport is turning into a laughing stock & its delusional fans are oblivious to it :>::

oh &
its not up to me to prove anything
you said the AFL has next to no scandals you were then proven to be embarrasingly wrong
then you copped out like the sheila that you are & said ... oh .. oh well at least they number a lot less then the NRL ..

up to you to prove that you numpty

The Internet doesn't have access to all the NRL scandals, because the clubs hush them up and the NRL supports that mentality.

The AFL does not.

(I never said the AFL has no scandals. I said the NRL has more, and more importantly they are the ones with the bad rep)

Oh man thanks fellas. You included TLPG, you've been almost as funny as Raider in this battle. Putting yourself out there to be smacked time and time again is something you do better than anyone.

Raiderdave wins by TKO. See next post for KE's round by round analysis :thumbleft:

Rugby Legues worst ever scandal, was the Storm salary cap scandal. The archtect of witch was former AFL CEO Brian Waldon.

His rorting and 'under the table deals' were obviously a non issue as far as the AFL were concerned.
