All of a sudden there would spontaneous outbreaks of fluid skillful ball handling and sustained periods of play without the incessant fumbles that infect the current game.

FACTS back that up .

Hunt was serviceable and played several good games. He would be good at tiddle winks as he is just one of those blokes that does well at whatever he tries he hand at. Falou struggled majorly in a poor side. Also different position to hunt but likely the only one he could play.. there or back. He just wasnt cut out for the game nor seemed to not have the desire to put the work in. He is a natural at the rugby form of the game and maybe didnt need to put a great deal of effort in because of this and why he is best suited there. I think it was more about psychology with him and preparadness to work hard. Both got paid a heap. . Mainly for promotion not because of their skills. Falou would not have got a game usually but hunt may have got a few and would have been a okay fringe player i think.
