Wow, what a season thus far for the young Giants. On and off the field records are being broken. Well done Giants =D> =D> =D>



The 2016 season has been one of shattered records for the GIANTS both on and off the field.

While setting a club record 13 wins this season has been a highlight, the GIANTS are especially proud of their record-breaking membership number.

The support from the GIANTS’ 15,311 members has been terrific, be it on the road, in Canberra or at Spotless Stadium.

That number has smashed the record of 13,480 members set last year.

The growing support has been evident with the GIANTS selling out games in Sydney and Canberra in 2016, including setting an AFL attendance record at Manuka Oval in Saturday’s win over Richmond.

14,974 people crammed into the stadium to watch the game, beating the previous record set in 2006.

Chief Executive David Matthews said this year’s membership record is another sign of the club’s growth both on and off the field.

“Passing 15,000 members in 2016 is a significant milestone for our young club as we continue to make significant strides in the AFL competition,” Matthews said.

“I want to thank our loyal and committed members who’ve gotten behind the club this year.

“The team is playing an exciting brand of football that fans want to watch and this is being reflected by growth in memberships, ticket sales and TV audience numbers.”

If you’d like to show your support for the GIANTS memberships are still available, however they no longer include priority access to finals tickets.

yes very impressive numbers from a club fighting for a position at the very top of the ladder who's membership base consists of 2 cities

Um no dumb arse, Ultimate Giants membership is $480 and that's still less games than one would get with a Wanderers premium membership when you consider how long the A-League season is.
