Every team in the NRL has the same $$$$ to spend in the salary cap ..no extras .
No giving certain teams the supposed best young talent .

I was reading the courier mail about a few months ago and it was going on about how the nrl needed to fix whatvit called a very compromised comp. I chuckled at thinking how some in here would be carrying on.

The main grip was origin and the scheduling of games. Some travel more and have less breaks or something

At least when my team won the GF last yr it was because they were the best .
Not because they were given extra $$$$ .

I dont think it was about time slots and tv. I think it was highlighting the broncos having to fly to nz to play .. maybe on a thursday night or not long after origin anyway the writer was saying at the least they could have made it a home game. That was one example he gave and in his opinion he felt the nrl was the most compromised comp.

Also, hawthorn won the last three premierships and i think they dont get conessions. Gws are the only ones doing well ... and if it was soley due to conessions then the suns would be up there two i would think. Also, non victorian clubs travel a lot more and weak clubs have dificulty getting players, let alone ones from another state. So whilst there is some argument re it being unfair, if you are truely going to be balanced in evaluating it you also have to looj at the disadvantages a start up club like the gws and suns also have that others do not. Look at brisbane and the exodus of players a couple of years back as an example.

Anyway, just my view. And you can bet that when a perth team comes in the nrl they will do the same

The reality is this. The AFL have at least tried their hand at expansion since the 90s. The NRL are all talk.
