As has been said many times . Our sport has many many levels . Right up to international .
& that's a woman's team as well

We are different because we have other countries playing .
Countries that we can compete against at international level .

But that means nothing when staring out of the insular AFLOL bubble .
If it's not done the Aflol way then it's no good .

Gee there is some stupid AFL people here, even the moderators!!!!! Mind boggling really. Apparently you just pretend some of the best assets of RL, and for that matter RU, don't exist and all is good and happy in their little world. Now that is delusional.

As for the AFL's womans comp, the AFL is like the kid with ADD at the back of the class constantly putting his hand up yelling out, "look at me, look at me". They can see the new Netball comp coming, they're afraid of the womans BBL comp, they envy the Wleague, they're scared of the womans cricket team and they can't believe there will be a womans 7's rugby team playing at the Olympics.

So the poor attention deficit feeling AFL stomp their feet, make a lot of noise and hey presto, a Ladies AFL comp. For the record I say good luck to the girls playing but it really is nothing more than the AFL effectively photo bombing womans sport in a crass attempt at being relevant.

Oh seriously FFS you are so RL (and NSW) centric it's laughable - there has been regular women's exhibition matches for the last 3 years at least (Melb v WB). There are many women's AFL comp's in every state (something that RU and RL CANT boast!) and not just recently but at least the last 10 years, this has come off the explosive growth nationally for women's AF - you are so ill informed it's embarrassing ( even women's soccer hasn't experienced the same growth!)
