Origin 1 breaks viewer records again

The total Australian peak was 4.423 million viewers. Which is an all time record for Ch 9s Origin coverage.

Think it might have outrated AFLs grand final too with both total Australian tv ratings.

so 450k watched SOO in Melbourne, then only 12k watched the NRL on Friday night. Seems these one-off games mean zilch for popularity of the sport itself. What they really mean is SOO is a popular event, and the sport itself is meh

450k watched Collingwood v Richmond on a Friday night, plus nearly 300k on Fox. Yet none of them were from Melbourne of course..... :[]
