Talking Footy

Anyone hear Sam Newman last night on the footy show? He says footy's boring with all of the posession games and flooding etc etc. Does he understand that coaches are coaching for their careers not just for fun, their board want them to win at all costs not make the game a spectacle. Roos and Laidley have been successful using these tactics so good on them. I wonder, if Sam's Geelong lost by 25 to 15 every week he'd be happy he saw a spectacle rather than a Geelong win. Teams play to win, not to entertain.

Yeah I saw Sam last night and tend to agree. The Swans style of play is not only ugly, it is proving ineffective in achieving the ultimate goal of winning and a premiership.

Got to be kidding don't you. The roos are 5 and 1. Crows should have won tonight but they don't have a marking forward. the crows have lost three quarters all year and have lost three matches playing tight hard, accountable footy, it wins matches. Swans have been found out on the SCG cos it's so small, the only thing that matters is the 4 points, not how you get em.

Hey croc your alcoholic coach lee mathews aint looking much better at 2 wins 4 losses 11 goals a game. Both coaches are shithouse, croc next time you take a dump mate turn around before flushing and stick your nose in it for awhile
