CANTERBURY legend Steve Mortimer says the Bulldogs will overtake Collingwood as the biggest club sporting brand in Australia within a few years.
Mortimer believes the Ryan Tandy issue the Bulldogs have been dealing with during the off-season will not hurt them on or off the field, and that the road to the club maximising its potential will be opened by the establishment of league's independent commission.
''There's no reason the Bulldogs can't grow to become bigger than the most popular AFL club,'' Mortimer said yesterday. ''I believe there are several NRL clubs - the Dragons, Rabbitohs and Eels are the others - with the potential to do that.

On another doggies note Sydney's biggest club (South's to argue) reached 20k members the other day.

Look how happy they all look over 20k lol

But doesn't RL mob on here argue that membership figures don't really matter?

Exactly 5 years ago. So where do these NRL clubs Mortimer mentioned that will one day take over the biggest AFL clubs sit now? Parra included lololol.

After 5 years, his article still remains bullshit. None of those clubs are still close to AFL clubs. Massive fail prediction. I think he made that article on behalf of your mate raiderdave. And his gone into hiding after realising all those ridiculous claims he made over the years turned out to be bullshit.

On topic: yeahhh nahh f@&k you

Actually, I believe Lebanese fans make up most of the fan base. Congrats on finding an article that managed to gather tiny amount of fans.

This article you posted OP is also fail. Every club and community of codes has its mix of multiculturalism.

The bulldogs would be the less likely club to be brought up first, Lebanese make up a huge chunk of their support that's just one race, others are Australian Lebanese, Australian Greek etc.
