No more Grand Final replays as AFL Commission agrees

They finally did it
THE AFL has scrapped the Grand Final replay, with extra time to decide this year's premiership in the case of a draw.
The League confirmed the historic decision on Tuesday following a meeting of the AFL Commission.

Personally I don't like the idea - tradition says repeat the GF and that's what should happen.

The AFL cashed in big time on that grand final replay big time! I still remember when that grand final finished in a draw! Every one was in a state of shock no one had any idea what was going to

I think it takes away the Moment of the "GRAND FINAL"
and if a draw is at end of time, extra time is added.

Different strokes for different folks - I'd prefer another game (it's another excuse for a BBQ and a beer!)

Was a good move/decision.
Replay the next week, like what happened in 2010 is stupid.
Would be harder on interstate sides for fans and team

Has taken AFL this long to realise it is a bad idea.
Now to get rid of those extra goals when your too shit to kick straight.
