Eddie has plans: New Sydney-Collingwood blockbuster
Collingwood and Sydney, best of football enemies, are hatching a new, mid-year blockbuster that the chiefs of both clubs say can rival the NRL's State of Origin in significance.

This must be very embarrassing for you AFL folk.

To see the delusions of gandur coming out of eddies mouth must be heart warming...  :_<> :_<>

Never happen - maybe be a big game but never the same hype, that's Eddie being Eddie. Every codes got one for years NRL had Tommy Raudonikis, they make headlines even when no one takes them seriously. He's just trying to end the feud he started with Sydney.

the largest team in Sydney vs the Largest team In Australia, why not try and build the hype up even more, the two presidents have a decent history of mouthing off at each other, why not play on it

Living in denial .

No .
Try some facts for once
Crowds for this blockbuster ..lol lol
Have nearly halved since an all time high in 2003 .
Despite rigging the comp to ensure the swans got their flags..lol flags
It's going backwards as an event .
It's not even considered a big event in Sydney .

According to your mate swines the Anzac Day game in Melb is a bigger event than SOO
Yet less than 100 K in Syd & Bris combined bother to watch it
So what hope has this game got ?
Plus there still seems to be the usual ****** thinking coming out of Melb that Syd people will suddenly sit u & take notice of AFLOL
Like its something new
Something they've never heard about .
Will drop everything to watch this .
Lol just lol .

The one underlying theme of this article is the jealousy of SOO .
Nothing in the AFL world can match SOO .
& doesn't it eat at the southern hicks

lol your mad how both teams are well supported week in week out! unlike the SOO & everything else league! so many people are interested in watching their state vs another state, then come the weekend, its back to reality, people go on with their lives, they couldn't care less about league

Stick to the topic dickhead .

It's a fumble game v SOO

Lol not even your Gf matches SOO so why would some ordinary club game that's gone backwards in interest suddenly be as popular .

Lol .
I don't really expect an answer .
Just your usual deflection will be answer enough

Doesn't this same article come out every year or every second, I swear I read this a dozen times from eddie over the last decade being at various sports sites, the guy never gives up on his Dream does he :(/ :(/ :(/

Years ago it was Collingwood and the Lions that were also going to put the fear of god into those naughty Northerners and show them who's boss come Origin time, even gave em a 3peat to kick it all off.
