With the typical regionals of 200 this will get around 1.05m. Not sure thats bad for a Thursday. Sure is better than most of the nrls thursday night games.

The afl creaming the nrl on fox for Thursday and Friday games too

if the regionals are that..

the NRL has had 9 Thursday nights games 5 of them over 1mill mark 4 below.

great to see the NRL take out the year with a total figure :thumbleft:
The AFL average 1/3rd of the metros as regionals so it will easily be 1.05m

Honestly, the year's tally means nothing when you have more rounds, more games in isolation by far, more games in prime time, and a game lasting 1 hour less per telecast. The best rating games at least show something. The best TV deal does also

What do you mean more games in Primetime

The AFL have FTA on some Thursday 5 in fact
Friday FTA and Saturday night.

you have way more FTA games,
imagen the NRL had another FTA game to ad, lets say Saturday night (a further 1 million viewers)
More rounds.... 2 of our rounds are bye rounds for SOO

its the exact amount of games, for NRL AND AFL ......

what you keep forgetting is

FTA gets way more viewership over fox ( a hell of a lot more)

but the NRL has 5 games exclusive to FOX (look at the amount of viewers we are missing in this)

on a typical week end we have 3 of 9 games in prime time, however two are competing against each other. The NRL have 4 of 8 games in prime time.

The extra FTA game the AFL have is Saturday afternoon and delayed into Melbourne. The advantage is minimal, and even worse given it competes with another game on Fox

Though 2 of the games are fox exclusive
Afl are 2 fta
Even if u do play at same time airing different games
Into each state gaining the more viewers for home teams.
It will beat 2 fox games.

3 nrl fox games = 1 fta nrl game in viewing numbers.

STV #NRL #FoxSports #NRLPanthersSouths 167k
Fri STV #AFL #FoxFooty #AFLPiesFreo 258k
Fri TV #NRL #NRLPanthersSouths Nine 422k (Syd 300k Bri 123k) Gem 30k (Mel 18k Ade 2k Per 10k )

Fri TV #AFL #AFLPiesFreo Seven 362k (Mel 290k Ade 72k) 7mate 134k (Syd 25k Bri 21k Per 88k)

Looks like a win to the NRL when adding regionals
2 teams from both codes outside the 8
Playing each other.

NRL is 619k without regionals
AFL is 754k without regionals. Even if the AFL only get 160k for regionals the NRL will need over 290k to be ahead. It'll be close

Look at those foxtel ratings. The AFL are absolutely dominating. The gap looks around 100k or more consistently

What medication are you on xman?

afl. 496 metro + about 150 regionals + PTV 258= 904k

NRL 452 metro + about 300 regionals + PTV 167 + Sky 20k = 939k

And 5 10/1 games for the AFL still to come [-(

Wow, you really are stupid. Perth are an AFL state. They didnt choose to have games shown in different time zones, it happens when you have a national game

Would still rate pretty big even if it was delayed, at 70% of population do not have FOX

and it would be at Night time on FTA

is it only delayed into Melbourne or whole country.
