After all these years you still dont understand the concept of concurrent games. You need to change your username to goose

The AFL on Fox in the evening rated 339k, well over the NRL. Plus there were 700k watching on FTA

Just how out of touch with reality are you XMan? You've got Perth watching the Freemantle match while Melbourne watch Collingwood's match and Adelaide viewers get to watch port Adelaide. You add these together then you suddenly click your heels together, say hocus pocus and twirl around three times, somehow coming up with a figure of over 300k for fox....See A Doctor who specialises in your area.

The figure i quoted shows the audience watching AFL between 3 and 6 pm on Sunday afternoon. The fox figure is the 3pm game added to an average of the 1pm and 4.30pm games, since they overlapped.

Yes there are 3 games, but each market only watches 1. Yes there a 3 cities involved, but how can the AFL avoid this when almost half there clubs are outside Victoria? Thats the advantage, and often disadvantage, of a more national competition.

Over 1mil on Sunday arvo is a great figure

Your arguing about your own game. the fact that its a long winded boaring snorefest cant be helped. The fact is, your game going for hours has advantages and disadvantages . Playing games into there local markets has advantages for the TV network - that why they do it. A short game has + and - also but we don't need to complain, we don't need to make up but but excuses because unlike your game our game is not pathetic, its not boring, nor does it get  in the ratings.

its not a complaint, its an explanation of why 2 games added together is no more advantage than a single NRL game showing the broncos

Isn't it much more of an advantage for every possible TV viewers to be able to watch 4 games a week rather than 3?
