Again, counting nz does not go toward any argument of which code is more popular in australia.

it doesn't, but than the NRL now have 15 teams up against 18 ..NRL seem to be doing pretty well than.

but of those 15 clubs only 1 is outside your heartland states, so you have 4 heartland clubs. The AFL also have 14 heartland clubs

of those 4 clubs outside (the Heartland)
they do have a very tiny niche, where they pick up viewers and crowds,
so it all add's up in the end.

Will no doubt go back up again once origin is over and the finals race hots up. This year the NRL will absolutely smash the AFL in eyeballs on the game - will be a great result for a great game.

Got anything mildly intelligent to say pal?? Got any reasons why the NRL's TV ratings are higher than the AFL's this year? Have you got any stats on how many times a ball bounces around on the ground in AFL per game? Why don't AFL teams keep stats on player mistakes? Is it because they would need at least 20 full time stats men at each game?

To be fair, both sets of numbers for Thu are terrible, both will not crack 800k.

That has to be the lowest FTA game for both codes this season in Prime time. Not sure what caused them to be so low. >
