How is the game a simple comparison
AFL game of the season
Kangas v hawks cracking game tight to the end.

To the NRL PRE ORIGIN PERIOD
Stars missing
SOUTHS disaster season v PARRA
Points abolished dramas galore..

We take hit during origin..
Its what the NRL are willing to do in origin period.
Its called sacrifices
To get something BIG
They call it SOO

Friday's games werent a fair comparison on their own, I agree. however Firdays AFL ratings were far higher than any NRL game this year, which is a comparison of both codes best games.

As for Friday being our game of the year, I dont think so. Adelaide v Sydney or GWS were better.

lol 150k sky when last season they averaged 77,000 per game. Sure.

The average might be 77k, but they got 150k last year for a couple of there more exciting games, which this one was. Either way its over 1m.

but of those 15 clubs only 1 is outside your heartland states, so you have 4 heartland clubs. The AFL also have 14 heartland clubs
