I think the bad in the NRL matches the bad in the AFL and vice versa for the good. I don't think any code can claim the moral high ground (but it was fun stirring RD about the bubbler incident). Footy players aren't paid for their intelligence in both codes.

I GUESS THE SAME QUSTION COULD BE ASKED ABOUT AFL..
WHY IS AN AFL COACH IN COFFS HARBOUR WAS CHARGED WITH THE CHILD GROOMING OF A 13 YEAR OLD BOY??
This makes NRL player offences look very petty.
Does not get much worse than an AFL coach with sexual charges towards a minor.
Then last year an AFL male spectator king hits a women at an AFL match.
Or the two Brisbane Lions Academy AFL players facing rape charges of another male?
Are plenty more I could mention too.
