Can't agree more .
If I had paid to watch that game last night I would want a refund .
They basically said its fine to tank .
Disgraceful .
In RL my team the Cowboys are finishing 3rd ...no matter what .
Could have run out a reserve grade side ...get flogged by 100 & still finish 3rd .
But they still named a full strength side when JT ,& Matt Scott (carrying an injury) could be rested before the finals .
RL has its problems .
But the integrity of the comp is not one .
How some AFLOL fans are OK with what the commission does is mind boggingly bizarre .

A decent post wookie, you've captured a few of the issues but can I just add the fact that the AFL commission has also done jack diddly squat in regards to addressing the shocking and blatant racism of AFL crowds, players and staff. Also the AFL commission has allowed for the wastage of millions upon millions for no return in countries such as China and South africa.
It's just abysmal stuff and I'm glad you're coming round to seeing the realities now wookie. Was it me that helped you come to these sort of realisations?

Been an ordinary yr for the AFL commish .
The essindrug saga still going strong .
Tanking is acceptable .
Once integrity is gone ,then big media deals, a good finals series etc will not get rid of the bad odour lingering over AFLOL house .

Your esteemed leader can't explain it
Yet fined a club for doing it .
To me & other normal people Tanking is when a team is not committed to winning/trying to win .
Through not fielding their best team/ resting many players .
A coach not playing players in their best position resulting in poor performance .
Etc etc .
Look at N.Melb Fri night ...as Wookie explained .
Condoned by the AFLOL .

Funny how it never happened in the NRL this weekend ....read my post after wookie .
Now do try to keep up .
There were teams in the AFL not doing their utmost to win.
