Any comp where you have over 1/3 of the comp at odds of 250-1 or more when you're not even at the halfway mark ,can only be called a lopsided mess .

Yeah AFL is definitely a lot more predictable comp than the NRLs.
The NRLs is so much closer between teams. AFL is struggling with its very thin talent pool.
The AFL really only have half of one country they can really get most of their players.
While NRL has New Zealand, England, Fiji, Tonga etc, as well as Australia.

Hahahahaha
How funny is that nearly a century of league and one player
The basic requirement for league. Be juiced up on the roids, not completely brain dead & have the coordination to be able to run carrying a ball under the arm, then be able to throw the ball off to the left or right 7 meters

Bitter little man, you can't even bring yourself to say good on ya RL for giving Murdoch a nice pain in the arse and a black eye for all he done to the sport 20 years ago. He and his lot are the only reason expansion failed in the 1990's, you know it, I know it and every other idiot knows it but the truth is never reported because the truth hurts the supporters of the other sports because the two richest arseholes went after RL and not their sport because they were deemed not worthy enough or in the right position to take advantage of the Pay TV war to sell subscriptions.
The only teams that would have been axed had there been no super league war would have all came from Sydney eventually, no if or buts about it. We didn't have teams in Adelaide or Melbourne as of yet and the only teams actually missing from the original expansion are Perth and South Queensland Crushers. The S QLD and Perth team seem to be the next two clubs off the rank so things are only just getting back to what they were 20 years ago now.

All teams that were only cut due to a legal battle between two competitions 20 years ago.
I still laugh at how pathetic AFL is. AFL is an older sport than Rugby League and what has the AFL really achieved as in overseas creadible expansion???
No professional teams outside Australia for AFL anywhere
While Rugby League has professional clubs in England, New Zealand & France.
Then you just have to laugh at how pathetic your international cup is with zeros crowds or tv audiences.

=D> =D>
Good luck in ever gaining any following outside Australia lol...
AFL test match, hehe.. Non existant because AFL can't get any support in England or New Zealand.

The_Wookie wrote:yeah cause the AFL gives a shit about serious international expansion at the highest level of the game. For the AFL, expansion is about bringing the talent here, it always has been. We dropped representative football, and we dont even play our own game at the international level, we play some bullshit hybrid - thats how serious we take it.
Get over yourselves.
Your legends and experts -
you'd be there in a minute only problem is noone wants to play your boring, pathetic game.

Its Pretty Simple..
The AFL would love to be more Internationally Exposed..
Have countries to play against.
but the matter of the fact is, no other country takes a liking to the game
Plain and simple.
