Seems like a great stadium for to watch matches. Reminds me a bit of Superleagues back home. A sellout crowd of 16,764 is a fair effort for a Monday night game against a non Sydney NRL side.

Was a good game too I thought. Klemmer is sure to soon be a major name in the NRL, if not already.
I wish Manly could get a few players like him and Josh Jackson.

Yeh yeh .
You seem to have a problem with funding for rectangle grounds .
But Vlad gouging 2 bill out of govts for AFLOL is fine .
Lol you are a hypocritical ****** .
That's the nicest thing I can say .

& none of the rectangle grounds were built solely for RL .
Yet your loony fumble colleague rants about any rectangle ground getting $$$$$ spent on it ,yet ignores the massive $$$$ spent on ovals .

He's a moronic hypocrite
Typical VIctaaard .

Still towing the party line, unable to see the forest for the trees. You do need to try harder.

whoop de fuckin doo. That should be standard, not remarkable.
What is remarkable is so many AFL fans say Rugby League is dieing.

Yet the Bulldogs just sold a Monday night game against a team in Melbourne.
Another thing that is remarkable that State of Origin got 91,000 in an AFL mad Victoria

Also remarkable is Kevin Sheedy and AFL fans were saying Sydney could support a 3rd AFL team not long ago.

That's why you'll see the likes of the Bulldogs playing out of Parra stadium when it's rebuilt and taking their bigger games to ANZ, the atmosphere alone through the tv for the return to belmore game just showed what the Dogs have been missing with the crowd so far away from the action.

what we get in Sydney in regards to "Home Crowds" as in Belmore
where there is 99% Home Support

You cannot get this in Melbourne
as its Split in between sharing the same grounds.

As of said and I will say it again.

what other comp's in the world do what the AFL do.

2 stadiums for 9 teams. (its pathetic and takes away the Home Advantage (your district vs that district)

if the NRL do this.. it will not feel the same.

:(/
No party line to follow .
That's an AFLOL thing .
I am just highlighting the hypocrisy of fumblers .
They rant rave & stamp their feet when there is a mention of $$$$$ for an upgrade or new Syd rectangle stadium .
But have no problem with the AFLOL gouging 2 mill outa various govts .
:(/ :(/ :(/

You clearly do not understand! All the old AFL clubs suburban grounds were funded through the clubs. The nrlol grounds was tax payer funded!

Understand the difference moron

The game of rugby league might be behind the victorian game of "aussie rulz" in crowd numbers in aus but that doesn't mean the game of rl is poor, it's still one of the most attended footy codes on earth each season., something you vicheads seem to have a problem with
