Hypothetically your are in Mr Demetriou's position. What changes would you put in place?

For me, I'd push hard for the struggling teams in Victoria to relocate.

Western Bulldogs > Western Sydney
Kangaroos > Canberra
Hawthorn > Gold Coast

I'd also work harder to ensure better TV coverage in the Northern States through the next broadcasting agreement, particularly live Friday night footy.

Added to that I'd also spend even more on grassroots development in the Northern States. Get local government on board as well to replace the many H posts grounds with 4 goalposts. I'd introduce a new $1 levy on all AFL tickets to help cover the costs.

Finally, well for starters anyway, I'd also ensure as a matter of urgency that Carrara Oval remains just that, an oval suitable for footy.

Well guys and gals, what would you do in the same position?

Firstly I would employ 3 high class hookers to ensure my stress levels never got too high. Then I'd employ a hitman to kill both eddie macguire and sam newman. My next step would be to assess the rules regarding rough play and allow rougher tackling and onfield fighting. I would make the penalties harsher for any sissy acting crap like little push and shoves, melees, and girly wrestling and foxy boxing and public crying Actually public crying would mean a 2 year suspension Then I'd introduce a team from Darwin and one from Mexico for laughs. And finally I'd go on a diet, Alex Demetriou is a fat cookie.

If we are locked out of Carrara as a result of the NRL getting a rectangular stadium there, then I'm with you in thinking it is time for Demetriou to go.

Oh how I wish we still had Wayne Jackson in control. Now that was a man with vision.

I would employ suicide bombers to go to NRL games and make these game more ecxiting. These suicide bombers would also come in the form of NRL wives or groupis tarts so when they slut about with the team...aka Bulldogs they take the whole team with them.

After the NRL has been destroyed these jihad warriors would then seek out these AFL pussy clubs...aka Ca Swannies and Crows and tell them the shape up or be blown up!
