SUPERLEAGUE & NRL FORM CLOSER TIES WITH EXPANDED CLUB CHALLENGE!!

After the success of last years super club challenge it looks like the expanded version will be a regular fixture.
Not only that, it might be made even bigger with 4 clubs from each comp playing each other in 2016 instead of the 3 from last time.
Which would make it an 8 teams in total fixture.

AFL guys fans may snubb their noses at this. But having another professional league outside Australia for top NRL clubs to test themselves against is something AFL will NEVER EVER HAVE.

I watch alot of Superleague matches and there still is a very passionate fanbase up North.
With 35 professional Rugby League clubs in 3 divisions.

How can it be second rate when some of the best players in the NRL are from the English Superleague?

Superleagues Burgess boys helped Souths win the premiership last year.

AFL only has one one televised professional competition in only one country and always will lol =D>

Yeah and how many people really care - even when your own side is in it few attend or even care to watch - it's just another attempt by RL to make themselves think they are as big as soccer by imitating the champions leagues. But the reality is no one is interested!

Didn't know they had TV in 1914??? I think you mean 2014 - but it doesn't translate to memberships, crowds, participation or sponsorship does it I mean this is all you ever talk about because that's all you have even then it's not like you win every time slot is it - it's not a clear victory rather a Pyrrhic victory really because their losing in so many other areas!!!

Err no - it has already been pointed out touch football count participation by players, officials, e-mails, phone numbers, school sports and fans all seperatly not one person doing many jobs but many jobs equals participation. You like to count this different game because it suits you yet discount Auskick from AFL. Simple fact is RL has the LOWEST participation of ANY code. Soccer is 1st, AFL 2nd, RU 3rd and RL last! You know this as well as everyone else. I have posted the discrepancies with Touch before you just ignore it because it suits your argument!

Where has that been shown
& it's a variation of RL .
Created by South Sydney .
It's NRL touch ,& because you can't accept it you discount the numbers .

Lol
Have a cry .

The new agreement will bring more than 1.03 million participants together playing in competitions under a joint NRL-TFA banner. This is in addition to the 844,000 girls and boys who currently take part in NRL Development programs each year.

No I said its numbers have been shown to have been highly inflated by counting the same person MANY times. If it were so there would be 30k in Vic alone - but alas there is not its overly inflated its a joke. You are the first to cast doubt on Auskick yet when the tables are turned somehow we have to accept NRL accounting? Nup all crap and RL is the LOWEST code for participation!
