Thank god goodesy will be playing in sydney this weekend

Yep folks its indigenous round in the AFL and we all know what that can mean... It can mean it's time for the southern crowds and leaders in the game to get their racist on and attack players based on their racial background. [-X

Goodes has been copping it in melbs and elsewhere South of the Murray ever since he stood up against racism. He's a tough bloke but he doesn't deserve the constant booing he's received ever since. It appears indicative of the mental and social aptitude of those South of the Murray. A disgusting culture which the AFL has done little to diminish. I'm sorry a token indigenous round doesn't quite cut it, particularly in light of the AFL's recent face palm to michael long's interest In a position on the AFL board. He's not 'qualified' they said [-X I mean seriously, is Eddie McGuire 'qualified' for his roles in the AFL?

Woeful.

Well this morning on triple m radio in sydney town the rl boys Matty johns and mg called for the swans crowd in sydney tonight to cheer every time goodes gets the ball.

They too are disturbed at why melbourne crowds boo him ever since he stood up for himself. They mentioned he's an australian of the year ffs.

It shows a real underlying racism down there, very telling indeed.

And how nice are the leaguies, just full of support and promoting AFL and anti racism in sydney. What a stark contrast we have in the codes around this issue.

If it's racially based why dont they also boo Lewis Jetta?

Oh dear, didn't you block me? I really shouldbt have to explain in the face of such ignorance but, explain I shall.

Lewis Jetta didn't make a stand against racism in the same manner goodes did and therefore he has not challenged the unconscious racist bias, within what seems to vast numbers of southerners, to the degree goodes did.

It's disgraceful activity Xman. Twould be nice if you recognised and opposed it rather than passivley support this for a change.

It's really telling the way the AFL fans react to this stuff. Really telling

Thats funny because Michael Long and Nicky Winmar stood up against racism and were applauded.

Goodes is a dirty players, and he stages for free kicks. That's why he is booed. I'm the same, I cant stand him, he's a very unlikable player. However, I applaud the things he has done away from the game

I always thought you boo good players - Selwood is a good example, Milne, Carey, Buckley - I don't think he's dirtier than anyone else just there are players the opposition always loves to hate regardless of what they do. But hey if RL types want to cheer him go for it.

He's run through a number of players behind the play when they werent expecting it which is my issue. Plus his staging is terrible. But he's a good player too which may be a factor. Suggesting it's racism though is just silly. Other AFL players have stood up to racism and experienced no booing, so that clearly sint the issue

Things have changed since michael long and winmar I'm afraid Xman. People are realising taking a stand against racism means more than just doing the South Park Mr mackie and saying "racisms bad mmmmkay". And they don't like it. They don't want long on the AFL board, they don't wanna change.

Goodes is not a dirty player by any stretch of the imagination Xman ya lying turd. People simply don't like his stand, hence why the booing started after he took his stand and not before.

There's literally thousands on social media who are against the stand he took. Get a grip on reality Xman.

go on BF, Goodes is regularly discussed. The complaints are not about his stand against racism, theyre against his staging for frees

Whilst I don't agree with what' he's allegedly done has been proven (there is a MRP xman which would refer if we're true - e.g. When he slide in on a port player) most people can name some specific incident which when you go back wasn't that at all - but I agree no one ever says he's a black so and so let's boo him - it usually some start it and others join in. Personally I just think more will do it now because they have made such a big deal. In the end tho there is not one person who wouldn't want an Adam Goodes in their side and that's the way his career will be remembered.

It's so bad it's laughable.

But I think the one white parent rule isn't in effect here with Jetta. I think it's the old, and please insert a southern Tinny white Aussie accent here

"He kept his mouth shut, just like all coloured folk should"

I think that's more a part of the unconscious sentiment sitting inside the thousands upon thousands of southerners booing goodes and not booing Jetta.

They never booed goodesy before he spoke.

You been booing him too Xman?
