In the land of the unexpected, thrives one competition. It’s the battle of four regions, 11 teams competing for National supremacy.
Digicel Cup the heart and soul of rugby league in PNG!

(this will only get bigger)
WELL DONE

AFL internationally is a laughing stock. I really don't how they can't see that.

They have no proof of anything... no pictures, website or video evidence anywhere of their code doing well outside Australia.

You can imagine how many other small leagues like PNG are around.
You watch in the next decade, rugby league will have alot more star players from foreign nations in the game.

Unlike AFL which only seems to be able to get players from white Anglo backgrounds with a handful of Indeginous players and that is it.

I kicked a sherrin in PNG once during my kokoda track trip. Gave it a hell of a drop punt.

There you go. Aussie rules in png. Good enough for you? That's as far as it is going to get.

Wookie add this to your collection of AFL internationally. It might be one of your best sources on AFL internationally.

Alright Wooks fair enough, you might have a few tiny leagues outside Australia.

But I am still yet to see an actual decent crowd outside Australia watching two overseas AFL teams playing.

If you find one on youtube with something like USA vs Canada or Serbia VS Russia. I will admit I am wrong.

But so far I have found nothing as in crowds, getting into two international AFL teams playing.

And Rugby League is far from a national sport for these two countries.
