We'll have to make do with test, Origins, Finals and Grand Final - All those Gold Medals, its a heavy burden we have to carry - But there has to be winners and there has to be losers :_<> :_<>

Revenue is turnover its not what you make.
The NRL's revenue has incresed by near $200m over the past 2 years. The AFL,'s has increased by 20m in that time

no, revenue is what you bring in. Profit is what you make after costs. The AFL spend far more than the NRL because they earn enough to do it. They therefore enjoy better facilities, stadium deals, TV deals, benefits for clubs and fans. The NRL limp along

They have traditional home grounds - stadiums are not a big issue.

Australian Rugby League Commission chairman John Grant announced a net profit of $49.9 million for the NRL, but warned growth opportunities for the game may be diminished by inappropriate off-field behaviour by players.
Grant and NRL chief executive Dave Smith delivered the game's business review for 2014 on Friday, just days after the drug scandal that has rocked the Gold Coast Titans and led to the club's license being taken over by the NRL.
Grant announced a $49.9 million operating surplus for the NRL for 2014, on the back of a $49.6 million profit in 2013.

As far as revenue goes, which is totally seperate to profit , the NRL's has more than doubled, closer to treble in the last couple of years increasing around $200m While in the same time AFL revenue barely increased $20m.
And claiming AFL out rates the NRL is fanciful stuff -... :_<> :_<> :_<>

No one is arguing the fact that the AFL has a lot more liabilities than NRL.

The NRL had a profit of $50m for 2014.
The AFL had a profit of $15m for 2014
Which of these organisations made the most money?
you can come up with all the but but excuses you like , but the profit figure wont change.
