EELS coming back?
Good ole parra have strung together some victories against some of the better running sides in the NRL. I'm quite impressed I must say but has anyone actually seen the games? Are they playing well or just flukey?

Yet another fine example of King Eliagh the prophet, seven weeks later and the Eels are coming second on the ladder. Surely I'm a genius.....Suuuurely!!!
First I pick brisbane (last years grandfinalist) to play shit.....and they did.
Then I pick port (last years premiers) to play shit......and they did.
Then I make an uncharacteristic sheepish post on the Eels (came somewhere very close to last last year) making a comeback........and they did.
For those who think they know more than me?

Re: EELS coming back?
I'd say flukey considering the past two losses in consecutive weeks. Tonight they were beaten by the predicted wooden spooners Newcastle at Parramatta Stadium.King-Eliagh wrote:Are they playing well or just flukey?

Actually i hear newcastle have made a big form turnaround as your favourite son joey johns has the boys all fired up. The footy show on sunday had all four panelists agreeing that newcastle were going to knock off some big teams in the coming weeks.
However i agree parra mustnt be playing aswell as they can currently. But i definitely wouldnt call them flukey! To be second on the ladder at this stage of the season aint no fluke beaussie.

And my rebuttle for the 2 gherkins in this thread who attempted to make me look foolish is thusly.
Parramatta finished the home and away season as the number 1 team. Thats right dipshit numero uno =D>
Once again the king and prophet eliagh looks down upon his people/commoners from a great height.
