Come off it, they fudge, big deal own up and be done with it.

It's not going to hurt you or your footy code to do so, and if you ask me, I reckon they should be moved to Tasmania, they want a team and have screamed for one for years and in their case being an island off the mainland that follows the sport more than makes up for any shortfall the AFL are getting in Western Sydney and Canberra atm., this team fits the bill. Instead of wasting over 20 million dollars a year on GWS, the AFL could find and if not, sponsor a Tassie team itself and still be way in front.

The Swans are all that is needed in Sydney, they're a big enough club on their own. GWS already play at two different cities, what's the difference between the two big Tassie cities alternating opponent sides in each city each year? and Canberra and West Sydney where no one turns up bar the opposition fans?

Seriously, if the Storm was going as bad, and I know they aren't big but you can see a decent amount of support in their grandstands each home game to justify them in a growing market, yet GWS has none of this, you can't say it's just Rugby League fans that say this, I've seen it mentioned on forums like Planet Rugby and 442 plus the rahh and a few other places.

And last but not least, if they want to use the Giants as a name, what better place to have the Giants name than the smallest battling state of them all that has produced Giants of the game for a Century or more?
