Thu TV #NRL #NRLBroncosSouths Nine 653k (Syd 418k Bri 235k) GEM 76k (Mel 71k Per 5k)
My Kitchen rules 2.1 million
gotta love the networks paying hundreds of millions each season for the broadcast rights for each code, yet only for the games to be pumped by cooking shows
only goes to show how crap the 4800k odd rating boxes representing 23 million people really is

I like how you put the regionals in for MY KITCHEN RULES
but not for the Rugby League.. Making it look smaller.
Pathetic.

care to add in the redionals then, then add them up & thn compare it to MKR
MRK will still comfortably win.
im just pointing out the billions spent on live sport, yet cooking and gardening shows out rate the live football games
only goes so show you base the popularity of NRL on ratings, yet when they get out rated by cooking & home renovation shows only shows how flawed the rating systems is

Good ratings in Melbourne for both opening games.
Yet as usual I keep asking myself why the NRL doesn't have the Storm playing on one of these nights at home beamed into Victoria while there is no AFL on? Both games got at least 70k in Vic, the Storm if playing definitely would have added more, it doesn't make sense any way you look at it from growing your brand to the channel itself getting as much bang for their buck..

dont they normally have the block on in that timeslot as well which usually gets beaten by mkr but still cracks a good 1.7-1.8m on most nights?
kinda does show that no matter how g'd up people get on here about their own sports, the general public doesn't really give a shit at all about any of us or our silly kiddy games
