The Cricket World Cup 2015 is upon us.
Australia & New Zealand sharing the Tournament

This Event is the 3rd Biggest Tournament in World Sport.
The International Cricket Council has sold the rights for broadcasting of the 2015 Cricket World Cup
for US$2 billion to ESPN Star Sports and Star Cricket

Australia and NZ are set to share in 20million Each just from Ticket revenue.
With most of the Profits going to the ICC. (who then distribute millions to the cricket Nations.) (unkown what amount is)

Local organising committee chief John Harnden revealed that more than 825,000 tickets had already been sold for he tournament, with the target of 1 million in total attendance well within sight. Harnden added that only "a few thousand" tickets remained available for Saturday's clash between Australia and England.

The 1st game is actually in NZ on the same day a few hours earlier

i saw in the paper today though that uae are playing bangladesh or something so i assumed the world cup was starting must be a friendly instead
