We haven't had trials bar the Sts vs Souths match on any platform for well over a decade, sad to say 9 and fox have royally screwed RL fans in australia for years.

I see the AFL gets heaps of promotion sometimes over the top where it feels like it's at saturation point, maybe 9 and fox are taking the NRL in a different direction if you get what I mean, a slow and steady build instead of constantly in your face?

Still back to the actual point, yeah we don't deserve trials on TV anymore, it's as if since the SL war, the fans have been punished in all sorts of ways.

But the commish is in now, things are about to change.

looks like the changes have started already thank goodness, point stands, ch9 and fox treated rl fans like arseholes for years even though they used that fan base to build their pay TV out here.
