Who cares that the Rugby League got the bigger crowd, the fact the AFL nearly got as big of a crowd as the biggest Rugby League game play in NZ in years just proves how unpopular League is over there.

Of course the AFL is not bigger than Rugby League in NZ. I was never saying that I was just shocked that the 4 Nation Final against Australia where NZ had a big chance of winning (which they did) only got a half full stadium! THAT is embarrassing.

The AFL is just starting there, no one even knows what it is, yet everyone knows Rugby League but they get a half full stadium to the biggest game in years. I found that very strange & sad for the great exciting game of Rugby League
