Not a bad effort considering Rugby League is a very small sport there. It is very amateur still, but good colonial cup crowds between these nations shows promise for the sport.

According to AFL fans one of there biggest leagues outside Australia is in North America. Yet there is still no evidence of any crowds watching their games.

Of course soccer is a much bigger sport the Rugby League there. And if you clowns read the post properly I said it is a good turn out for a sport with a SMALL following in North America
Being from the UK originally I follow Football too.
Rugby Leagues following is still a shitload more than AFL has there though. AFLs presence is close to zero in North America :<>

Haha nice one. Can't speak for the other soccer fans here but the reason I don't attack AFL is because I can respect it as a free flowing sport which actually requires skill, so while I don't actively follow it I've still watched enough to realise it's miles ahead of RL. Pretty much all the other sports in this country require skill and thought, RL requires very little.

I actually agree with you that soccer is skillful. But AFL requires less talent than crawling while drunk.

How the fark is AFL skillful lol

*You get a point for missing.
*You can drop the ball constantly and not get penalised.
*There is no cross bar on the goals either to make it easier to score again.
*Players trip over each other and fall over constantly.
*Players take most shots at goal with no pressure of being tackled or distracted.

All these points are why AFL is the least skilled game in the world and can't make it anywhere outside Australia.
Makes no sense you liking a skilled game like Football and a no talent game like AFL too lol

7,000 seems alright, but that tournament has been pulling that reasonably often

Should be aiming for 10k within a year or two.

RL, $25 in revenue, free sausage sizzle, maybe a couple hundred players in the entire country out of 300m people
