Ch7 has taken ABC's place and televising state AFLs.
It'll be interesting to see if rl can compete with that.
The SANFL makes more money out of AO than most nrl hovels.

Lol.you didn't get any smarter in your time away.
Did you miss where the QLD Intrust cup was outrating the AFL in QLD.
Smashing it
Queensland ratings figures for Intrust Super Cup rugby league finals games beating AFL on TV
CHRIS GARRY TODD BALYM THE COURIER-MAIL SEPTEMBER 24, 2014 10:00PM
SECOND tier rugby league games are out-rating AFL finals games in Queensland as the Intrust Super Cup attracts record audiences.
The Intrust Super Cup preliminary final on Channel 9 last Sunday smashed free-to-air coverage of the AFL’s two preliminary finals that weekend.
More than 120,000 people watched traditional Brisbane rivals Easts Tigers and Wynnum Manly battle last Sunday .
It was a clash between plumbers, electricians, accountants and bar tenders as part-time footballers ripped into each other in another chapter of a gloriously bitter Brisbane rivalry.
The league final doubled 7Mate’s prime time coverage of the Sydney Swans thumping of North Melbourne on Friday night, which attracted 62,991 viewers.
The AFL’s preliminary final on Saturday between Hawthorn and Port Adelaide drew 88,721 viewers on 7Mate.
A better question is
IS Aflol equivalent to 2nd tier RL ???
Lol
Not in the northern states .
Internationally ..LOL. NO..we have international teams in our 2nd tier comps.
Sorry Cuzzy ,every thread you start you are getting belted in ..
You live in some alternate reality.

Are you the imbecile? You're talking PAST TENSE.
There was no need for commercial TV because the state leagues were on the ABC
NOW they are on commercial TV.
You'd think you'd know better about your own state comp.

Wtf, you have a crack at who what and where RL is shown yet when it is shown that these amateur comps out rate your fully pro comp on TV in the same market, you want to go back and change your rules.

That sentence describes the majority of threads started by Cuzzy.

AFL gets terrible rating in Northern states.. Actually the Queensland cup had more viewers in the finals than AFL matches in Queensland last year. Now who has the amateur second league then?? =D>
So is AFL ever going to get a team outside Australia being compeditive??
You guys even have an AFL academy in NZ but still no luck lol..
