a shocking 9,322 turned out for the australiaxsouth africa OD game,..first match of the "real cricket" as the nuffies put it....

apparently this is "DA REAL CRICKET"

wtf is going on? yet again the a-league game in newcastle outdrew this rubbish

cricket was going to maul the a-league in attendances they said 8-[

thankfully the asian cup starts soon. my eyes are sore from watching these international cricket matches being played in empty stadiums and getting shown up by a domestic comp :)

:(/ :_<> :_<> :(/

The ODI would have been watched by 1.5 million last nite

The oi league again will be in womens cricket territory

This is why cricket in this country gets 100 million a year from its tv deal
& sooker gets $12.50 :(/

Sooker types dont seem to like this fact

It also shows that Ch9 dictates to CA when they will play there games

Fancy playing a game during a work & school day
Just so it could be beamed live into the east in prime time
No wonder no one turned up
But this is the power of the TV dollar

Something sooker need not worry about
Someone would need to care first :(/ :_<>

Suffering

Yeah
They sit there suffering while counting their hundreds of millions in media rights revenues  :_<>

When will you greazy wankers learn
If no one watches u on tv
It doesnt matter how many do at the ground
You will always be a struggling pouper

This country has 3 sports with relavance importance & strength.
Sooker is not one
& never will be

So what, they get big $$$$ from TV rights.
The TV networks pay big dollars for popular sports...sadly for you hooligan ball is way down the list.
The very same TV rights Gallop is spruiking as getting a huge increase next deal, for horrible league
He might need new glasses .
He clearly can't see how woeful the ratings are.

We can .

Errrrm, wouldn't it be cricket supporters if anything was wrong?

I think so.

Btw, the ratings and crowds for all the cricket so far including the womens game have smashed your oi league.

21k, 25k, 20k, 9k

yeah....big smashing there

this is an international team...struggling and losing a battle with a domestic comp

now...when the socceroos hit town and play infront of 50k+ or more crowds, then you'll see what a real international team looks like...not this 20k in an 80k seater rubbish that the cricket has been doing

1 million+ 1 million+ 1 million + on the TV, channel 9 and Cricket Aus would be raking in the sponsorship dough seeing as there is an ad after every over and these games can go half the day and half the night.

Cricket is our national sport and the TV ratings plus crowds in each and every state and territory suggest you as usual are either lying, or ignorant.

I'd go with the liar theory.
