Yeah channel seven got ripped off by AFL, they payed more money than Channel 9 for less viewers than NRL :_<>

AFL is the only sport that gets laughed at... your players are softer, your sporting culture is dorky and ridiculous, your AFL uniforms look like what a netballer would wear, you have no coordination fumbling, dropping, falling over lol...

Yep it was channel 9 saying during the season how disappointing the NRL tv ratings were again this season after a dreadful season last year. Way to go No.2

the AFL got $1.253 billion just for its H&A season for coverage of 190 odd games, AFL has control of its schedule

the NRL got $1.025 billion for 190 odd games, the coverage of the NRL H&A games as well as international, games, world cup and origin.
add in the state vs state hype of origin!, channel 9 picks its the NRL schedule!

This means technically the AFL grand final had a huge advantage with less popular programming up against it compared to the the NRL grand final.
