Yep the so called "pride of the league". It's sickening how many bandwagons you see around Redfern. Where were they during the season? Certainly not out at games supporting their so called team. So embarrassing to see how hip it appears to be tois put on a brand new jumper or drive around with a rabbits flag on the car. Pack of bandwagon flogs.

Can see the jealousy that Sydney are much more passionate about their South Sydney Rabbitoes than the Swans :_<>
They have a much prouder history in Sydney than your blow in Melbourne team. So of course Souths will gain alot more recognition and respect here.

It is undeniable that league is the biggest game in Sydney but surely the question is which of our major codes has had the mout success in enemy territory. Now we all know the answer to that. The storm are irrelevant down here while by any measure the Swannies are a success. The Giants are a different beast but as it has been once said "the ground is hard but the ox is patient".

yeah, i bet melbourne would kill for the swans shit house ratings.

500k for a grand final!! storm would probably half to half their GF ratings in 2012 to compete with that.

Haha I am not so sure Melbourne being a failure. Swans have had about a 30 year head start in Sydney over the Storm in Melbourne. That is a huge head start on promotion. Not to mention all the original South Melbourne fans going back 50 plus years.
Storm originated in Melbourne from scratch, non of this other city blow in team crap lol...

Was just on facebook looking at both teams, 382,000 Facebook fans for Melbourne Storm is pretty impressive. Hardly the following a failed venture would have.

Storm struggle to sellout AAMI park. Shithouse and unloved comes to mind. If only they had the bandwagon flogs in the thousands that souths have. They might then be relevant.

So jealous and deluded of the Storms success in Melbourne. Rugby League is growing in Victoria whether you like it or not :D
And just had a record crowd for grand final last night :\:

Oh well, the sell out at the 4 nations this year down in Melbourne will help, quite possibly have ratings as high as the AFL prelims too.

You could sell out a cockroach race in Melbourne you poor deluded men.Noone cares. You can spend your whole life in Melbourne and never see a rugby field. The Storm have had a team with possibly 3 future immortals yet participation is still pathetic. No academies,no impact in schools and apart from our poly brothers and expats no impact into the greater community. They still have to draw all there players from the northern states and have just been removed from junior NSW competition.Undeniably Origin is a great event but it's one of many great events in Melbourne.League has its place but it's a long way behind the position AFL has in NSW

:_<> the storm are shithouse, yet the swans have sucked the blood (pardon the pun  ) out of the AFL for 30+ years now

And their ratings are still abysmal. wtf happened last week? Let's call it... Reality
