This'll keep me occupied over the summer.
Will there be any sell outs in the first round?
How about TV ratings, will they finally reach 3 digits now that SBS has moved the game to their main channel?
Will Fox sports manage to get more people watching it than the NRC?
We're about to find out.
Btw, when's it kick off again?

thanks for this, i'll try to keep you as up to date as possible
i have a bad feeling that you'll stop updating pretty quickly though
my crowd prediction for rd 1
MV vs WSW - 35k
CCM vs NJ - 12k
SFC vs MC - 20k
WEL vs PG - 10k
BR vs ADE - 18k
300k combined for sbs+ fox would be sweet for the friday game

more of an educated guess judging from every previous opening round we've done before, members, pax #'s so far etc
i wouldnt be surprised if the victory game cracked 40k. the sydney crowd could be bigger too depending if villa plays or not, would be the difference between just 20k and an extra 5-10k theater goes who want to see him play

MV vs WSW is at AAMI if i am not mistaken, capacity 29-30k
MV vs WSW 27k is my prediction.

Victory Australias biggest football club,Melbourne "cheatin" storm with 1 Victorian playing.I wonder which franchise is having the greatest impact and which Victorians view with real pride. If it wasn't for expats, news ltd. and our Polynesian friends the Storm would have folded years ago

i predicted 35k, wasn't far off :D and i haven't seen anyone disappointed with their crowd. 30k is still over 3 times more than the raiders avg this season, what a shambles of a club
. in reality 30k is their highest opening crowd for a game outside of a derby and rivalry game in their history
lowy said that's the goal for the next 10 years
outrageous claims isn't something that is thrown around in my sport. i think you'll find people to be more realistic...unlike the predictions of 20k avg attendance by 2017 and avg memberships for sydney clubs at 30k that your boy mr smith beats his chest about
going to the sfc game tonight, my prediction is 25k...see that davey 25k, have you ever seen a crowd like that for a regular season game in canberra...ever???

stop white knighting for him. he doesn't need your protection, let him defend himself and his shit club
and factually speaking....that 30k compares well to the nrl too on all fronts...infact that crowd was bigger than any crowd the nrl got for their rd 1 this season
ratings: Fri TV #ALeague#MVCvWSW SBS 280k (215k metro 65k regional)#FoxSports 122k=402k
parra: looks like we reached that 3 figures!
