Can Brisbane Lions make the eight?

Personally I doubt it for a few reasons. Their players are old and sluggish, their coach doesnt know what he's doing, they are slow and cant catch and cant kick. Against Sydney they were bad but today they are just disgusting to watch. Its going to be a long and miserable season for the lions in my books, possibly with a wooden spoon at the end.

LOL at stirring the pot KE, however I would never under estimate the Lions come September.
There is no doubt however that they look woeful today.

They were fucking shit eh beaussie?

Definitely overrated.
In my books I see them spending the next ten years struggling at the bottom of the ladder

I think the Lions will spring a surprise this weekend and beat the West Coast. If the game was in Perth I wouldn't give them a chance.

Whilst things certainly aren't looking good for the Lions, there is still plenty of games before September. Jonathan Brown was on the news last night saying you only need to win 11 to make the 8 and they're still confident in Brisbane that they'll make it.
Certainly worrying signs though when they keep losing at home. What is it now, the last 5 in a row.

Jonothan Brown has got to be one of the thickest players going round. He's all talk, the lions are turning into a bunch of big scaredy cats and you heard it all here first, from KE (Prophet and King)

Looks like the Lions are back on the prowl. Any thoughts that they may miss September action could well be very premature. Oh and Brown got what, 4 goals tonight wasn't it.

I stand by my predictions. Lions to finish 14th. They will get back on the losing track this weekend. Mark my words.

A month is a long time

Well well well, isn't a month a long time in footy? I would hate to be the person who continues to write off the Lions and bags Johnathan Brown.
As for their coach not knowing what he is doing, well that quite simply is showing blind stupidity. He is so good that he even won a flag for Collingwood.
For the record, he has taken Collingwood to a Grand Final and won, he took the Lions to 4 Grand Finals in a row, winning 3 of them. C'mon, he's not too bad is he?
Not only will the Lions make the 8, they could very well make the top 4 and ultimately go on to win their 4th flag in 5 years. Yes even with Leigh Matthews as coach and Johnathan Brown playing.
