Yes i am willing to put money on it. Now seeming the odds I set 2 months ago were between 15 and 20 to 1 the odds will be significantly higher now they are actually in the 8. I will put 10 on them at 35-1 not to make the 8 beaussie. Thats a $350 win if i come up trumps. :)

No incorrect. It still amazes me how often you are wrong bt  . Croc didnt take the bet because he thought the odds were "ridiculous". To me though I believe he was just too chicken to take the bet.

Now again i have offered a bet and beaussie you still havent said yay or nay. Please answer asap as I am a busy man with my new job as a telemarketer for sorbent toilet paper.

I stand by my predictions. Lions to finish 14th. They will get back on the losing track this weekend. Mark my words.
They have won 6 from 7 since this silly comment KE.

You never did get back to me about backing the Lions to miss the 8. Funny that!

Any odds on them making the Top 4?

No you got back to me croc saying the odds were ridiculous and basically implying you were too chicken for the bet. I think you're a smart man though as they're not gunna make it.

Yes i do have odds on them not making the top four though. Seeming they are in the 8 at present and have a presumed 'easy' run home i say 15-1. And im very happy to put 20 on it. Takers????

Well well well, isn't a month a long time in footy? I would hate to be the person who continues to write off the Lions and bags Johnathan Brown.

As for their coach not knowing what he is doing, well that quite simply is showing blind stupidity. He is so good that he even won a flag for Collingwood.

For the record, he has taken Collingwood to a Grand Final and won, he took the Lions to 4 Grand Finals in a row, winning 3 of them. C'mon, he's not too bad is he?

Not only will the Lions make the 8, they could very well make the top 4 and ultimately go on to win their 4th flag in 5 years. Yes even with Leigh Matthews as coach and Johnathan Brown playing.
This guy has to be the biggest dickhead going, along with the rest of you fools who posted ridiculous comments about the lions this season. As per usual i was right and everyone else was wrong. Sure they didnt come fourteenth but hey they gave it a damn good try didnt they!

This has to be the best thread at talking footy, read it all....just fascinating
