52,592 at ANZ between 2 of the 'biggest clubs in Sydney' with the oldest rivalry dating back 100 years or more
i was told by a certain Canberran resident that this game was going to be attended by some 80,000? Then he told me there would only be 70,000.....then a few days ago he told me 60,000.....
guess he was wrong again

there seems to be a distinct lack of nrl supporters on tonight.....
nrl is finished in sydney as a live spectator sport

sure for the intelligent ones among us who accept the nrl as a distant second among the domestic leagues in this country

the mod trying to be fair and not come across as bias
the crowd was shit, they got more last year.
to what the bumsniffers tell us their gsme is number 1
this was going to be a sell out 80k,
discount tickets of $20 per person $ $50 per family of 4

100 plus years of history the best side of the NRL season the roosters, vs the biggest side south sydney, with the highest membership & crowd average of the H&A season.
their side playing for a spot on the GF being played in Australia largest capital city of Shitney 4.5 million!
and this is all that bothered to show up.
all of those invisible fans out there in TV land, failed to show up again
the game of NRL is in big trouble

I think the real point is Wookie - RD has been banging on about AFL being in decline because we got 72k in 05 and now were only getting 48k. He was saying that this game was going to get 80k or 70k, Crapper, Para and KE were only too eager to jump on his bandwagon. Now it's only fair we remind them of these facts!

Wow pathetic.
Bigger crowd than any local sokka game this or last season or the season before, bigger than any AFL game in NSW this year, bigger than any Union game in NSW outside a grand final yet you morons want to throw stones, esp the sokka r3tard. Fuck me dead.
And you are having a crack at a crowd that hasn't even walked into the stadium yet that could actually beat last nights crowd if the Penrith lot decide to turn up.
Talk about jumping straight in feet first.
Check out the ratings, farking huge.
