I would love to see the AFL reduce the number of teams. A few less in Melbourne I think would be good. Nrl had 16 and should keep it at that. The should relocate, however I think building a team from scratch is the way to go as, like the suns, they become a part of the community, not just a blow on side .

IMO building a team from scratch is preferrable long term but in the nrl's case relocation is more sensible.
And you have teams very suitable for relocation in the nrl.

Fail thread.(How surprising),
After hearing time & time again by Derpers how the NRL has to expand ,now that expansion will more than likely happen in 2016-17 ,poor old cuzzy is getting a little bit scared.
The difference between RL & AFL is we have places lined up wanting a team..
AFL,only Tassie,

the GWS are drwing membership and crowds similar to other NRL teams in western Sydney.
the suns are beating the titans in crowds and membership including never playing finals yet
now add in the NRL's 2 last expansion efforts
the titans
35 million in debt & asic threatening to close the doors because they had no money to pay the rent
the menbourne storm have never posted a profit, millions in debt, even though they have been successful winning premierships & world league championships playing out of a stadium in the middle of melbourne.
so yeah what states are lining up for an NRl team

their poke laws very strict over there
the A league has a side there
the 2 AFL sides over there huge waiting lists for membership & 2 of the most profitable and stable clubs in Australia.
yet no NRL side
oh thats right they had the WA reds, back in the 90s who failed pathetically
