well the AFL had a more than respectable first week of finals crowds with a healthy 240k attending at an average of 60k per game.

how will week 1 of the NRl go? > Will it achieve even half of this total and average? 30k per game should be a minimum come finals time, wouldnt you think? i mean this is still below the AFLs home and away average after all. Surely at least one final in Sydney will beat the Swans crowd. >

NRL finals crowds tracking to be about 25,000 up on week 1 last year, stand & applaud folks

with the potential now for a Roosters V Souths prelim final in week 3 at ANZ stadium
could get 80,000 to that
