AFL Preview

Post by Beaussie »

Many thanks to our very own SBR for putting together a preview of Round 4 of the AFL. :D

I finally got it online with a new previews page (still working on the homepage to make scrolling text). It is harder than I first thought. :(

Anyway the main thing is the preview is up. Cheers SBR.

Is anyone keen on putting together a preview for the NRL or Super 12? Doesn't have to be this week.

Discussion of how the teams went last round and discussion on how one thinks they'll go this coming round. Have a look at what SBR put together.

Yeah sounds cool. We can have analysis from both SBR and yourself.

Oh and I finally got the scolling text script worked out for the previews on the homepage. It seems to move very slow at my end. Is the text big enough to read?

Perhaps you and SBR can work on something. Maybe a preview and review. Share the workload if you like. It's a great addition I think and at the end of the day I don't really care who does it or how many people do it just as long as we have it.

Many thanks to both you and SBR for your enthusiasm. Much appreciated guys and I'm sure I speak for not only members heremm but visitors to the site. Top effort. =D>

If he is cool with that, well yeah so be it. Like I said I don't really care who does it. If you guys have other ideas on what can be added I'm all ears too and will be more than happy to accomodate anything you guys suggest.

Yep I'm fine with doing that, I'll try and do a match review for whichever ones i see this weekend.

And if i do not see a match ill just do a goal summary and who were the major factors of the game, a little review of what happened in each  So eventually next week sometime i think it would be a good idea to try and add a link to a "Match Review" page.

One other thing is it depends what way you wish to go, I know it may seem as if were heading in the direction that AFL is dominating it but... we don't have anyone to do NRL... if we could find anyone who is wishing to do so then by all means feel free.

Any new and exciting ideas i think of Beaussie, ill be sure to PM you

Cheers! and Go You Mighty Crows!
