Just when we thought it couldn't get any worse for the nRL in 2014 crowd-wise, the Tigers have outdone themselves. Let's first of all eliminate the big excuses:
1) It was pouring rain
It was pouring rain in Adelaide and they still got 50k.
2) The stadium features a hill, noone wants to stand on a hill in the rain. Adelaide Oval's hill was PACKED saturday night in the pouring rain.
Let the deflection begin! Over to you fellas!

the game is dieing in sydney
ive lived in sydney all my life and can openly tell you that the nrl is a dieing sport with crowds as low as 5k and 6k rife here
as for the muddy hills
well they were banking on soccer throwing them a bone and getting the world cup so we'd upgrade their facilities. but these nrl nuffies need to lead to stand on their own 2 feet and stop looking for hand outs

the NRL and the NRL fans know no different.
government hand outs for the club grounds
most of their fans are dole budging bums, eg dribble dick dave, crapper spazza, parraeels, king eliagh etc

Yep Adam and SFC hit the nail on the head - it's the sport of the hand outs and now it's paying the price!

Oh well, the USARL GF this weekend will probably have a bigger crowd, some places are doing something, some places are sitting on their arses.

about matched the Thuns crowd on the Gold Coast
the Gold Coast being the new fumbles & derpies heartland if you believe the bubble dwelling fucktards in singlets
so
how is that crowd explained

>
we've been told the fight is over up there
the Thuns are all it .... the whole gamut
&
a crowd the same size as the poor old internal strife torn tigers can muster up ... shows up to watch the VFL's new golden headed boys

:_<> :_<> :_<> :_<>
I think the fumblers may have over stated the wuv for the thuns just a tad
don't ya think folks ?

Both Tigers and Suns games in pouring rain. nRL heartland team with 15 years of history (100 years if you count pre-merger) gets 5200, AFL expansion team with 4 years of history gets 10k.
And this is a comparison you're
PROUD OF?

Well dopey, the Tigers are sittin on their arse, the Axemen are not, thus they are getting massive support from the locals and spreading the game into knew areas, the tigers are restring on their restring on their laurels.
That should be even easy for you, derp!
