Roosters avg attendance for 2013: 19,368
Roosters avg attendance for 2014: 12,286

The roosters are the reigning champions yet their crowds have plummeted to near embarrassing levels. If it wasn't for the fact that teams like the Raiders and Tigers are drawing 8-9k crowds almost every week then they would be a national shame. I don't think any sport in the world would have a crowd drop that huge for their reigning champions
and it's not as if the Roosters are playing bad either, they're 4th on the ladder and are still #2 favorites to win the title

perhaps the NRL should bring in a policy at their suburban grounds, like they do for local footy in Melbourne.
in effort to bring people back to the game, they should let people park their car around the fence line.

Yeah it could seeing as big games that the Roosters hosted last year, they did not this year.
They will also not be boosted by the 60k crowd for the last round against the bunnies in a clash for the minor premiership contest the two oldest remaining stand alone clubs in the comp that hadn't met in this game for some 50+years managed to for a perfect storm last year. The Roosters for the zillionth fucking time would be one of the least supported clubs in the comp, how stupid are you to continue going on about them?
It would be the same if North Kangawhores were at the top for a while and their pissy crowds were used against other bigger supported teams esp if they managed to get a few crowds at the right times against the big opposition to boost their average and the next season they didn't, hence the Roosters with the Dragons on ANZAC day and running into a shithot South Sydney that were promising the world (as usual) fighting for top spot for once.
