Any way you look at it the AFL IC 2014 has been already been a great success.
At each IC the interest, countries and skills grow.
This year the Prime Minister, Premier, AFL and ex-players welcomed the overseas countries.
This year all games are streamed live.
The SBS has been interviews with all non english-speaking teams.
Commercial television has moved on from their previous fluff pieces and running regular reports.
Various other TV appearances and many radio appearances.
All teams have found the need to increase their skill level just to keep pace.
Some teams like the RSA that were development not so long ago are now in the finals mix.
The rate of improvement is very encouraging and we haven't reached the serious stuff yet.
